Center the TV at eye level when you sit down. The middle of the screen should be about 42 inches from the floor.
Check the wall. Drywall needs anchors into studs. Brick and concrete need the right anchors.
Plan the cable path before you mount. Keep power outlets close to the TV spot.
Leave space above and below the TV for air and cables.
